Ambassadors Ministry To provide a point of initiation, contact, and accountability for every new member of First Church of God. MISSION: "Maintaining the harvest, that none be lost" The Ambassador Ministry has a tri-fold purpose. The purpose is to contact, initiate, and connect every new member to the First Church of God family. Ambassadors are the first point of contact for new members. Through them Bishop Clarke and the FCOG family are given the opportunity to let each new member know that: They are not alone in a large congregation. They are loved and appreciated. City Of Refuge-Point of Impact City of Refuge Point of Impact (CORPOI) is the community development arm of First Church of God. Its name speaks to the organizations belief that communities will be impacted when faith-based entities are active participates in community revitalization. The organization was incorporated with the State of Ohio in 1994, obtaining its 501c3 designation April 1995. CORPOI operates on funding from grants (public and private), charitable contribution, corporate sponsorship, fund-raising, and program fees. CORPOI has a volunteer board of trustees who represent various areas of Professional expertise. In addition to volunteers, seasonal personnel and contracted services providers, 11 employees staff CORPOI. |

Nursing Home Ministry Ministry: Seniors Function: Nursing Home Ministry Mission: This minister serves as an outreach component to seniors and those who are confined to a rest home/convalescent care nursing home. The overall purpose of this minister is both humanitarian and spiritual: to visit the sick and infirmed and to provide spiritual service for those unable to attend FCOG or the church of their choice. Implementation: The FCOG Nursing Home Ministry will operate in several sites, base on availability and volunteers. We are currently providing services at the Woodlands Nursing Home on E. Board Street, every other Tuesday at 6:00pm. We provide Bible Study, and allow for prayer request and testimonials. The Isabelle Ridgeway Nursing Home on the Near East Side has requested that we provide similar services at their site as well Eastland Care Center. Stratford Senior Community - Every Sunday Woodlands II - Twice a month. Eastland Care Center - Twice a month. Seniors' Lunch Ministry Seniors Function: Lunch Program Mission: The purpose of this program is an outreach opportunity for seniors of the church to reach both within the congregation and out into the community. The main purpose is to provide free meals, wellness program and activities for the elderly and seniors. This will be done through a collaboration between Mount Carmel Health and First Church of God volunteers. Implementation: The FCOG Free Lunch Program for seniors will operate Monday through Friday from 12:00 noon till 1:30pm in the afternoon. The meals will be served in Y103 & Y104. The following services are provided: • Free well prepared hot meals through • Wellness opportunities in FCOG Mount Carmel Health Site located currently in God Zone, Monday & Wednesday. • Transportation & senior excerise. • Education and awareness of senior issues and concerns through FCOG and The Department of Aging facilitators. The senior lunch program will also offer an opportunity for seniors and the aging to develop friendships and opportunities for socialization among their group. Usher Ministry This ministry is far too often taken for granted. The primary role of the usher is to ensure that the worship of God is carried out decently and in order. Ushers are keepers of peace and serve to ensure that the worship of God is carried out with dignity. They are often the first "official" representative of the church that people meet. Ushers welcome people as they enter the house of God and their role is to make them feel comfortable and prepared for the worship of God. |

Youth Administration Team The Youth Administration Team supports T.R.U.S.T. Ministries in MANY ways. We work diligently behind the scenes to make sure everything operates smoothly. With the spirit of excellence, we perform the following administrative tasks: replenish Youth Welcome Packets, record meeting minutes, produce badges, process new members/guests/converts information, collect lists of Youth Foundation classes attendees/baptism candidates, and support other ministries in their efforts.
